It is so easy to forget what women achieve, it goes unrecognised. Sometimes dismissed and labelled "lucky" No, we are more than that, we encompass every emotion, every challenge, we rise and shine everytime. We dont need labels, we are much than that. We are women.

Researchers analyzed 38 million obituaries. Men were remembered for achievement. Women were remembered for being kind. Nobody asked her which one she actually wanted.

A study from Michigan State University, Boston College, and Arizona State analyzed 38 million American obituaries spanning 30 years. The pattern was consistent and striking: men were remembered more for achievement, power, and their accomplishments. Women were remembered more for benevolence, for being kind, warm, and giving. Even in death, the story society chose to tell about her rarely mentioned what she actually built.

Historian Laurel Thatcher Ulrich wrote a line decades ago that became famous precisely because it was so true: well-behaved women seldom make history. Not because they didn't do anything worth remembering, but because "nice" and "remembered for greatness" have quietly been treated as two separate categories, one assigned to her by default, the other rarely offered.

Here's what deserves saying plainly: kindness is genuinely worth being remembered for. But it was never supposed to be the only thing on her legacy's list. What she built, what she fought for, what she changed, deserves a place in that story too, not as an afterthought to how pleasant she was to be around.
